Beeleigh Abbey is a historic twelfth-century abbey situated on the banks of the River Chelmer, near Maldon in Essex. The house and its gardens are Grade 1 listed and are a unique surviving example of Medieval architecture.
The Abbey is both a family home and a working estate. The formal gardens are open to the public on select dates throughout the season. The remainder of the estate is devoted to farming and food production – run on regenerative principles. The estate’s two main products are honey and Jacob Sheep lamb, both of which are available for sale.
